All about Membership
Active Junior & Teen Concessions are available to residents of Dundee whose household meet any of the following criteria. Evidence of eligibility should be based on the parent/ guardian or household entitlement to the qualifying benefit. In these cases, documentation showing the parent/guardian or household member receiving the qualifying benefit must be provided.
- Receiving Housing Benefit/Council Tax Reduction
- Receiving Working Tax Credits (subject to income)
- Supported under part VI of the Immigration & Asylum Act 1999
- Unemployed & receiving Income Support/Jobseekers Allowance (income based) or Employment & Support Allowance (Income Related)
How we prove entitlement:
- The Adult is Primary Pays for the child's membership (they have the payment responsibility for the child). For example: if a grandparent pays but does not live in the same household but the child's household is eligible, then the child's payment would need to be changed to an adult within that same household.
- The Adult is the named holder of the Bank Account that pays for the child’s membership.
Applying for a Concession membership is quick and easy and can be done in 1 of 2 ways:
1. Join online via our Join@Home portal and select the Active Junior/Active Teen Unlimited Conc option. Take out the membership as normal. Once you have done this and noted your member ID, just fill in the webform below and upload proof of eligibility.
You'll need:
- Proof of address (e.g. a recent utility bill)
- A current letter confirming entitlement to any of the listed benefits.
Our membership team will then check your application and add a concession subscription to your account.
2. Alternatively, you can apply in person at any of the following locations taking your proof of eligibility:
