ACTIVE DUNDEE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR MEMBER REWARDS

1. Scheme Overview

1.1 The Active Dundee Member Rewards Points Scheme (“the Scheme”) is operated by Active Dundee, part of Leisure & Culture Dundee (Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation SC042421). 
1.2 The Scheme is in its final phase and is being withdrawn as part of wider system upgrades. 
1.3 These Terms & Conditions apply to the redemption and expiry of existing Member Rewards points only.

2. Earning Points

2.1 The earning of Member Rewards points ended on 13 April 2026. 
2.2 No points can be earned for any activities, bookings or admissions from this date onward, regardless of membership type or usage. 
2.3 Any references to earning points in previous versions of the Terms & Conditions no longer apply.

3. Existing Points

3.1 Members who earned points prior to 13 April 2026 may continue to use those points in line with these Terms & Conditions. 
3.2 Points have no cash value, are nontransferable, and may only be used for eligible rewards made available by Active Dundee during the redemption period.

4. Redeeming Points

4.1 Existing points may be redeemed until 31 July 2026, subject to reward availability. 
4.2 Rewards include a range of leisure passes, activity sessions and entries, with specific point values assigned to each reward. 
4.3 Some rewards are limitedtime offers and may be withdrawn before the end of the redemption period. 
4.4 Certain rewards (such as multiday passes) may be redeemed for the member or gifted to another individual, in line with the published redemption process. 
4.5 Once redeemed, rewards cannot be exchanged, refunded or reinstated.

5. Expiry of Points and Scheme Closure

5.1 All unused Member Rewards points will expire at midnight on 31 July 2026. 
5.2 From 1 August 2026, the Member Rewards Scheme will be fully closed. 
5.3 After this date:

  • Points will no longer be valid

  • Rewards will no longer be available

  • No extensions, reinstatements or exceptions will be offered

6. Membership Changes, Pass Use and Cancellations

6.1 Redeeming or using a Member Rewards pass (including 3day, 14day or other promotional passes) does not replace, extend, pause, substitute or provide credit towards an Active Dundee membership.

6.2 Member Rewards passes are intended for shortterm access only and cannot be used in place of an active paid membership, either temporarily or permanently.

6.3 Members must hold and maintain a valid paid membership if ongoing access to facilities or activities is required beyond the validity of any redeemed pass.

6.4 Cancelling, pausing or rejoining an Active Dundee membership does not:

  • Extend the Member Rewards redemption deadline

  • Prevent points from expiring

  • Reinstate expired points

  • Allow passes to be used as a membership alternative

6.5 Expired points and redeemed passes cannot be reinstated under any circumstances.

7. Misuse and Withdrawal of Points

7.1 The Scheme is for personal, noncommercial use only. 
7.2 Active Dundee reserves the right to remove points or refuse redemption if there is reasonable suspicion of misuse, fraud or abuse. 
7.3 Active Dundee may withdraw specific rewards at any time due to capacity, availability or operational reasons.

8. Liability

8.1 Active Dundee is not liable for:

  • Points that expire unused

  • Rewards unavailable due to capacity or withdrawal

  • Failure by a member to redeem points before the expiry date

8.2 Participation in the Scheme is subject to standard facility and activity terms and conditions.

9. Changes to These Terms

9.1 Active Dundee reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions during the winddown period if required for operational or legal reasons.
