Facility of the Year – Olympia Leisure Centre

Dundee’s flagship swimming and leisure facility has seen a remarkable resurgence since reopening last year, welcoming 313,518 pool visits between April 2024 and March 2025. Beyond visitor numbers, Olympia has also reestablished itself a key hub for aquatic sport and inclusive programming, hosting 48 events including artistic swimming, diving and a Disability Sport Swim Gala. Partnerships with NHS Tayside and Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland are delivering targeted health programmes, reinforcing Olympia’s role in community wellbeing.

Team of the Year – Active Dundee Membership Team

The Active Dundee Membership team has been recognised for driving a complete rebrand of the organisation's leisure and sport services. The team also launched a new membership scheme that transformed performance and implemented initiatives including the launch Active 9BX, a new hybrid /Hyrox space created at the indoor Athletics track at RPC Dundee. They have utilised an enhanced digital engagement and a high-impact marketing campaign, strengthening the Leisure & Culture Dundee's commercial position while supporting health and wellbeing across the city. This approach not only reinforced Active Dundee’s commitment to accessibility and participation but also delivered measurable results - boosting membership by 32%, strengthening brand recognition and building trust.

Campaign of the Year – 'Your Place'

Active Dundee’s ‘Your Place’ campaign unified multiple sub-brands under a single, cohesive identity, positioning leisure and sport services within Leisure & Culture Dundee as a vibrant, community-first brand. Through authentic storytelling and real-life experiences, it highlighted the transformative power of inclusive sport and leisure opportunities. By reshaping the leisure and sport narrative across the city, the campaign inspired meaningful change and established a stronger, more connected brand presence.
